Visited a Genius Bar yesterday thinking my hard drive had died. Eric the Genius booted it successfully using his external HD. Something like Disc Repair fixed a problem and my machine was working again. He told me I needed to get my documents filed correctly, so that's what I started doing when the sleep cycle hit. I live 70 miles from the nearest Apple store so would like to remedy the problem myself . . . with some help! Can you?
