ibook video editing - burn final project on PC?

I´m thinking about buying one of the new rumored ibooks (without DVD-R), which will be released this week. This will be the first time i will buy an apple computer.... and now my first question ....

I will use my ibook for video editing. Is it possible to make the editing on the mac and to burn the final project on a normal PC? Is it possible to transfer the final DVD Image to PC?`

You could burn it on the iBook, or an external DVD burner with a third-party program such as Toast or PatchBurn.
