iCal: error calendar could not be published

Doe this have anything to do with working behind a proxy? Unfortunately the first versions of Apple software (recently) do not seem to cope well with being behind a Proxy for HTTP....could iCal be another such case?

Anyway....seems fairly weak to me without iSync......

Are you publishing to .Mac or to a WebDave-enabled server? If not, then you cannot publish.

What does a WebDAV server look like? Do I have one? I do have a .Mac account and that works.

There are some free WebDAV servers that provide about 5MB of space. www.freezope.org is one. www.sharemation.com is another.
