Ical sync to Ipod

I have an Ipod touch (Model A1Z13, 16 MB) and use Itunes 8.0.2.

Wherever I read how to sync Ical with Ipods it says: "click on the Contacts tab" in Itunes and check "sync Ical". However, in my version of Itunes tehre *is no Contacts tab*! So how can I port my Ical to my Ipod?

it should be on the first tab, "general" or something like that. just scroll down if it's below the threshold. if in doubt, go through _any_ tab on the info-page about your iPod, where you set up _anything_ about syncing your iPod.
