Having trouble communicating on ichat with anyone in the UK
using either voice or isight. .
we can text. .but no voice or picture
have used it successfully with others in the states in the last few days. . but just no go with several friends in the UK
who are mac savvy

Have had no trouble in the past. . but perhaps the last isight update???

Skype works fine with audio....
but just no go with ichat . ..
opened all the ports on the router and on the mac on both ends.

Anyone have a clue????

If it works fine with people in the US and not in the UK, the problem isn't on your end.

Could be the the friends in the UK have ports closed, or their ISP is blocking ports.
