I recently bought a second hand PB (15" 800FW, 1Ghz, 768mb RAM) and did a clean install of Tiger. Tonight when I tried to load iChat it would flash up for a moment, then disappear. I have repaired permissions, and made sure that permissions were set properly on the iChat.app.
There is only one user set up on this PB.
If anyone has an idea, I'd appreciate it. I'm living in Asia and have found using iChat AV great for staying connected back home.
