icons doesn't shown correctly

I have a lot of icons in my macbook. when I search through spotlight for finding special icon, it shows images of the all icons same although when I click and preview, it shows the correct icon image. I don't know why it shows the icons incorrectly. please help me what can I do.
I'm using 10.5.6 and all the updates are done.

Does relaunching Finder make any difference for that?

Delete this file
/Users/yourname/Library/Preferences/com.apple.finder.plist

and see if there is a difference.

Do you have any other users in your system to test with? Log in as guest and see if the same happens under that user or just under your user.

It happens for all the users. I checked with two new account and also remove the specified file but nothing happened and I have a problem with my icons yet.
