I recently used mac the ripper to rip several chapters from several movies, used mpeg streamclip to create quicktime files,imported them into imovie and then exported to idvd to create the dvd. In the burn process I get the message that the recording device has reported the error #8. I have done 2 other dvds in this fashion within the last few weeks with no problem. I am currently running the latest version of idvd with the latest version of tiger.
