Illustrator 10 update

I recently got Illustrator 10 and tried to install the update that fixes some issues in the program. I did everything the Readme file said to do and when I clicked on "About Illustrator", it still said it was version 10 and not 10.0.3. Does anybody know what I did wrong? I am using a PowerMac G4 1Ghz, 10.2.8, and 1.75 GB of RAM.

it might just not show up in the about screen, not all updates do

As long as your AI program works without problems, then there isn't a problem. If you still experience difficulties, you could do a "get info" on the AI app and see when it was last modified.
