My wife has an iMac running OSX. It was sleeping. I turned it off, using the rear power button. Few minutes later tried to turn it back on; no go.
I've unplugged-replugged the power cords to the iMac, the cable modem, the Airport. I've pushed the power button for as long as 30 seconds. I can't think of anything else to do.
I have a MacMini which also got shut down; it started up again fine. So, the Airport is working, the modem is working, the printer is working. . .
but the iMac is DEAD.
Any thoughts about how to bring this thing back from the grave?
Thanks
Terry
