iMac DV SE making noise wen shut down

My iMac DV SE is making noises when it is shut down (Tsjirping like as if there is a bug inside)

I've read something about this somewhere, but I can't seem to find anything on this anymore. Anyone having the same experiene (and maybe a great solution?)

martin, it might just be time to defragment and optimize your drive. always hard to diagnose sounds on a post, but that is the first place i would look. if you need to know more about how to do this, do a site search for 'defrag'.
 
in the Apple Knowledge base. Article 58527 mentions that there are occasions of this problem with slot-loading iMacs. I've contacted Apple and my service provider and they will fix it for free tomorrow! Great service:)
