iMac G5 - 8x Superdrive ??

With Apple upgrading the Mac Mini and other systems to the 8x Superdrive, any word on when the iMac G5 will be upgraded as well? Any time table for iMac G5 updates in the near future?
 
The 8X on the mini was a missprint.

Yesterday it appeared that Apple's online store was offering Mac mini buyers an 8x SuperDrive build-to-order (BTO) option for the same price as a 4x SuperDrive upgrade previously offered. That upgrade was changed back to 4x today -- but the 8x upgrade was nothing more than a typographical error, according to Apple.

But, indeed, you might wonder how long it will be till the iMac gets that speedy 8x. I'm willing to bet we'll get a iMac and iPod mini upgrade some time soon. One can only hope the iMac will get a bump in its SuperDrive speed, if not just as a BTO option.
