iMac G5 has violent tendencies

I've had my iMac for about a year, and in the last few months I've noticed more and more it has a tendency to not just eject discs, but throw them out with such gusto it sends them bouncing clear off the desk!!

I thought maybe it was just my iMac, or perhaps my desk was on a slant -- but I happened to mention this to my collegue the other day and his eyes widened as he exlaimed "omg us too! both of hour iMacs have started doing the same thing!".

weird, huh. We exchanged notes and it seems to have started doing it at around the same time (about 6-8 months into the life of the iMac).

I'm not after a fix - coz I find it quite funny - but I'm interested to know how far spread this issue is?

lol. you're not the first. I've heard a few other people talk about it, too. It doesn't seem to plague them all... but it's not uncommon.

I wish I could think of a decent joke to put here, but I'm tired.
