I've always thought it's better to wait for the second incarnation of any Apple product. By then, any obvious bugs or problems should have hopefully been ironed out, in addition to the faster speeds and other candies.

eh, i have no complaints about buying first gen. after 3 months i don't really care if something new comes along (got mine in october) my only wish was that i had a bigger HD but i will survive.
