iMac Plastic Used

I recently came back from the UCLA store and played around with the macs they had there. Its no apple store but hey, free foolling around. I noticed that the iMac plastic on the previous version of the flat panel (not from this macworld) was different from that of the 'Snow iMac' and the 'eMac'. Is it supposed to be like that or did they take something off on that iMac i saw

Uh, shouldn't this be nt in the software bit? But anyway....

The LCD iMac uses a different finish on the plastic. The old ones use gloss, but the new one uses the matt finish. Personally, I think the dome looks better in matt
