Hello,
I managed to get one iMac 350. I figured out, that in order to install Mac OS X I need to install the firmware update (4.1.9), which isn't that much of a problem.
The thing I was wondering that does the firmware updates overwrite the ROM (in the same way when you flash your BIOS on a PC) or are these firmware updates some kind of bastard sons of the old System Enablers?
So if I install the Firmware Update, is it possible for me to - say, take a brand new HD and just install Mac OS X on it like any other G3/4/5 Mac?
