iMovie 2 FCP

I think Apple should add a feature to either Final Cut Pro or iMovie where you can convert your iMovies to Final Cut Pro documents with all the same cuts and transitions.

I have some iMovies I've been working on to get the really good, but now I have FCP and I have to go back and get the raw clips and edit them all over again. However much fun it might be to edit video, it would still be more convenient to just have a converter.

What do you think?
 
yes... good idea... although i'm not a mac user, it just seems right!

i would use FCP3 instead of iMovie when I get my Mac, even though I know LITTLE ABOUT IT (well... i can call up my local teleproductions company downtown cuz they run FCP2...)
