I am fairly new at the video thing.
I have from my SL iMovie HD--6.03. I have used it before with the same HD camera I rent--hence the problem.
It is a Canon Vixia HV40 HDV for taking--you guessed it--HD video.
Usually, I capture with iMovie . . . it works. I can edit and do everything and export.
However, for some reason, when I capture it does this:
"okay," I think, "it is a slow capture." BUT, when I play back:
what this means is the sound is not matching the video. It plays fine on the camera--everything matches. But when I play it in iMovie HD, the sound lags. When I export a clip . . . the sound lags.
So I played with the Preferences
including play back speed.
Nothing changes.
Help.
The problem does not seem to be the camera--it plays back fine. It is connected with a Firewire/b] . . . the camera is not recognized with USB.
