Importing Address Book ??

How can I import my old Address Book? I want to import all of the old addresses from Mail on the laptop to Mail on the external HD. Laptop is running 10.4.5, external HD is running 10.4.6. Thanks.

Have you tried selecting group "All" (or whatever you want to export), then clicking file -> export group vcard, and saving to the external HD? After that, just run the version of mail that you are importing to, and drag the vcard file into it.
