whenever i restart my computer, all the aliases i have in the dock turn into question marks. I upgraded my system to snow leopard, but it still happens. any insight as to how i can repair. Also now there is a 0 k trash document that will not go away--i can't even drag out of trash. Help??

Try this--get the name of each alias br clicking on each on and make a paper list of them. Then go into your hd-applications folder- find each app and drag each to the dock. This will create a new alias to be able to point to the orig.
As to the o k trash document-- go to the finer in upper oh corner and key on it- should bring up empty trash and below it is SECURE EMPTY TRASH, run it and it should get rid of it. Hope this helps
