Incorrect PPP Options

I have been using my Palm Tero 680 for about a month to connect to the internet. Then all of a sudden after a reboot I am trying to connect and I am getting "An incorrect PPP option has been set. Please verify your settings and try again." I have connected the Treo to another Mac and I can connect fine. I have also tried installing the USB Modem for my MacBook and dialing any number and I still get the same error message. No matter what I do as soon as you hit the Connect button in Internet Connect it pops up the error message.

I am using a MacBook Pro 2.16ghz, 2gb Ram, OS X 10.4.9

Sounds as if your network settings are wrong on the mac. When you connect using the other mac, open System Prefs/Network and make a note of the settings that work. Check that you have the same on your other machine.
