Infinit boot loop

I've got a PPC 9500/132 equipped with a Crescendo G4/400 PCI processor upgrade card, an USB adapter card, a ACard Big Claw ATA/IDE card, and two harddisk and a CDROM attached to it; the system is running under MacOS 9.1.

I tried to install MacOS X 10.3 (10.4 doesn't work, because I only have it on DVD and no appropriate drive in my 9500) using OWC's XPostFacto4, and the installation procedure seemed to work perfectly fine. When done with CD#01 a re-boot was initiated, and since then my Mac is stuck in an endless boot/re-boot sequence (gray screen--mouse pointer--Happy Mac--reboot).

I've tried to zap the PRAM, push the botton on the motherboard, press "C" on startup to boot from CDROM, as well as "CMD+OPT+SHFT+DEL" on startup to choose the volume to boot from, but unfortunately neither of those did work. :(
