I want to upgrade a recently acquired iBook G4 (early 2004 model) to Tiger. Current OS is 10.3.9. I purchased a set of 10.4 Installation CDs (CD optical drive only) 16 in all. I insert Disc 1 and click restart. Able to answer first two questions, get to the installation panel and a warning pops up stating unable to do installation on this computer. No error #, no reason why.
