Fried hard drive and had data recovered. Can CS3 be reinstalled when copied to new drive? I do not have the original disks, only the licensed copy. (sold business) Have all in tact from recovery, but does not boot from recovered drive on when copied. Some apps copy over and function, some do not.

CS3 when installed copies various files to a number of areas on your hard drive so when you copy the apps back they will be missing essential files to operate. Ideally you should get hold of the install disks and re-install, can you borrow some from someone? Or contact Adobe to get replacement set?
