Installing programs on parallels

Give the virtual machine in Parallels the optical drive if you are trying to install it from a CD, and then install the software like you would normally install in Windows. If that fails.. what point fails, do you get an error message? How do you try installing it? What are the system requirements for this palm, and which version of Windows are you using?

i managed to get it to install by simply ignoring the error messages - shoule have asked my 13 year old son first!
