I need to update my 10.2.4 samba to at least version 2.7 because of a scurity flaw in 2.2. (Samba encrypted password change request buffer overflow). There are binaries for other unix platforms at www.samba.org but not for OSX (Darwin). I tried downloading the source and doing the whole .configure .make dance but no luck. has anyone found a solution to this? Thank you.
