A few minutes ago my iBooks disk started trashing, I couldn't figure out what was causing it because i was using safari and that is it. Spotlight wasn't indexing so I opened activity monitor and find was using like 30% of the cpu. There were also several SH instances open. My first reaction was Hacker because I couldn't think of any reason for those sh sessions to be open (owned by root), Terminal was closed and so was X11. So I rebooted, disabled apache and firewalled up.

What do you guys think? Is there some program that runs find periodically? I have never seen it run before without me asking it to find something.
