I have a 450 dual running tiger with the latest update. It is a new machine for me with a new OS and I am having different problems that are intermittent.
I am connected to the internet via ethernet but the connection goes off and on. When I run a diaognostic it might tell me everything is connected properly and next that it can't find it. I have tried different ways to configure but nothing solves the problem. I have other computers running on the same line without any problems.
The other thing is, at times my external hard drive won't show up. If I restart, this solves it most of the time but not always.
I also have a third party dvd burner installed, the Pioneer R100 does work for Mac just fine, and sometimes it won't recognize disks that I put in. It can be a software disk or CD.
I have run Disk Utilities and Disk Warrior and it tells me everything is fine, so I don't know what to do at this point. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
