I have a 600 MHz PowerPC G3 running Mac OS X version 10.4.11. I am trying to connect wirelessly to my existing verizon modem. I have connected a belkin wireless G-Plus MIMO USB adaptor. When I try to connect to the Internet I am unable. However, when i look under network in system preferneces, it indicates that the ethernet adaptor is currently active and states you are connected to the internet via ethernet adaptor. I am not sure where to go from here or if I am even connected properly. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

So it looks like you will need a router to complete the setup. The belkin wirless USB adapter is there to pick up a signal, but without a router there is nothing to broadcast the signal from the modem.
