Hi,

My powerbook g4 has started to go to sleep while i'm working on it. The problem has started some time after i have updatet my system to leopard. I have checked the heat sensor and the one at the trackpad has problems in showing the temp all the time. Furthermore it sometimes vary from 4 degree c to +100 degree c. This looks odd to me since it only occurs in periods.

Hope you can help.

Regards,
Esben.

try a batch of resets:
PRAM - hold Command+Option+P+R just after the startup chime, keep holding until you hear the chime 2 more times

NVRAM - hold Command+Option+O+F just after the startup chime, and once you see w white screen w/ black text show up, release the keys and type reset-nvram and hit enter, then type reset-all and hit enter. your Mac will reboot.

PMU - find your particular model on this page and follow the appropriate instructions.

Good Luck!
