Iomega Zip650 and Jaguar

I purchased an Iomega Zip 650 CD about the time that OSX first came out. It worked great with 9.2 and even in 10.0 (using Toast Titanium). I recently upgraded to a pure Jag environment (no classic on board) and now the CD burner is not recognized. Iomega says that the drivers are native to 10.2 and it should work. Toast says its an Iomega problem. I'm about to throw it through the wall and buy a new burner.

I have a Zip650 and it works fine in Jag, supports disc burning etc. But with the price drives are going down to might be worth upgrading. I ended up paying around $90 for a LiteOn 52x24x52x CDRW with a firewire case. ($20 for the drive, $70 for the case, I could have gotten the case cheaper if I orderd online but I wanted instant gratification). It's so nice to no longer be stuck at 4x4x6x :)

I suggest you use the Software Update in the system preferences and click on the check now button. Get the 10.2.5 update. That has many minor bug fixes which should correct your problem.
Do you have Toast installed? It should see the burner. You may need to reinstall it.
