Ion UBS turntable experience

I just bought the USB turntable from Ion http://www.ion-audio.com/ittusb.php to be used with Audacity software http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

My first experience is great.

Here are a few tricks:

Audacity 1.3.2 beta is much better at dividing the recorded data into songs, but it hangs on my iMac Core 2 Duo at the second I press record, so that I use the older 1.2.5 version of Audacity to recod the vinyl before segmenting it with 1.3.2 beta.

There is a "Click Removal" effect that does what it is supposed to do very efficiently !

Save as MP3 to import into iTunes.

I bought it from a Swiss reseller, selected by an Internet search tool. www.toppreise.ch I searched for iTTUSB

By the way, there is one set-up to modify from the default: the internal gain. It is too high and can saturate the signal. Here is my modified set-up.
