For two years I have had my iPod Touch connected to my car's USB port for use as a music system. But when I connected my iPhone 3GS I got an alert that the device is not optimized for this use. It starts to play music but ends after one song. It charges, but very slowly. I then switched out the iPod Touch cable for the cable that came with the iPhone but had exactly the same result.
Why is the iPhone 3GS not willing to work and play well with the car's USB port? Any ideas?
