iphone3g locked on itunes, HELP!!!!!

i just got a new iphone 3g.
it works properly and i can make calls send msgs and so on, but when i sync it on itunes an annoying msg tells me that the sim card is not compatible etc. a lock image apears on the top right corner of the screen.
is there any help offered from you or am i going to have to live with the fact that my phone will have no music??
btw i live in libya so its a jailbroken phone
 
We don't talk about jailbreaks and SIM unlocks here on macosx.com. If you need assistance with jailbreaks and unlocks, look where you've got those from.
