IPhoto Library Will Not Load

When I click on my Iphoto Library Icon it brings up a blank library screen that seems to be "loading" pictures, but the pictures never load! I have been having this problem for a while so I created a second library called Iphoto Library 2 that functions properly. However, I need an album of pictures from my old library that I can not access!

Control click or right click the iphoto library in the users/youruser/pictures folder and select "show folder/package contents".
