iphoto quits unexpectedly on NAS

I recently upgraded from Tiger to Leopard. My photo and music libraries are both on a dlink 321 NAS. Prior to the upgrade, both iphoto and itunes worked fine accessing the libraries on the NAS. After the upgrade iphoto loaded the thumbnails, then quit unexpectedly. I created a new library on the mac HD from the photos on the NAS and iphoto worked fine with the mac HD library. So I created another new library on the NAS from the photos on the HD (same process in reverse), thinking it might have been a corrupted file. However, when I choose the new iphoto library on the NAS, I have the same problem...thumbnails load for a couple of seconds, then the following error message. Any help is appreciated.
