iPhoto titles disappear

After entering titles onto a couple thousand photos in iPhoto, I burned them to a DVD. However, all of the titles reverted back to their IMG numbers on the DVD. There is a data file with each album, but I can't figure out how to open the data file or to get the titles permanently attached to each photo. Any suggestions?
 
It used to do this for me when I transferred photos from iPhoto to iWeb. Had to enter the names all over again.

However the latest version of iPhoto is OK with this on iWeb transfers. Do you have the latest version of iPhoto installed?
 
There is also an option you can check when exporting to "use titles" or something like that (not at the mac right now). That will preserve your titles.
 
Just looked. You're right!! :)

Certainly an option on v7.1.2 from the iPhoto that came with iLife'08. Never noticed it on any earlier version, but I must admit I can't remember looking.
