iPhoto

Hi - I just found myself in a big problem with my older (iPhoto 2) version of IPhoto. I burned a disk from my G5 which probably has the most recent version of iPhoto and opened it on my G4 which has v 2. Now I cannot open my iPhoto and find my (substantial) library of photos. What do I do?

Thanks,
L.D.Thompson

Doesn't seem likely that a CD of photos could corrupt your G4 version of iPhoto. Did you go to the actual applications folder and d-click on iPhoto? Maybe the dock icon has lost its link to the real program.

If you still can't get in there you could try trashing the plist file. 9 times out of 10 that fixes things.

1. Quit iPhoto App if running.

2. Go to your User's Library folder (or from finder, click on Go, then "Go To Folder...". Type in "~/Library" and click OK)

3. Locate com.apple.iPhoto.plist and Trash it.

4. Empty Trash

5. Reload up iPhoto
