I'm thinking of buying an iPod 20gb.... for PC.
Since my girlfriend dont seem to let go of my iPod for mac.

She's madly in love with it.

So i was thinking of buying a iPod for PC, since i both have mac
and a PC. Is there anyone who heard any rumours or someone who knows for a fact that apple is going to release iCal for PC?

don't count on it, because It's not going to happen. if you have a mac, than get the mac one and also XPlay or EPHpod to sync it with you PC.

don't count on any iApp being ported to the PC.

Also, make sure you get a firewire card with 6pin ports (carries data and power)

6-pin firewire cards (which will recharge the ipod when connected to a PC) go for about $20 in pricewatch.com

I'd imagine that it would mount like any other firewire drive.

However, I doubt the iApp functionality would be there. That's just a guess however. In any case, I'd prefer the Mac iPod because the iPod is charged when you plug it in....

You could buy the Windows iPod and then replace the firewire cable to do the same thing.

If the iPods only can be usd at one platform, then Apple has done another bad mistake.
