iPod clone, iRiver

Did you see this almost identical player. It is way too over priced for a 10GB player. However, it looks like all MP3 players are following the footsteps of iPods navigation system. It still lacks firewire ports, but the microphone is a good feature (something the next iPod is sure to have).

iRiver

How does it follow in the footsteps of iPod's navigation system?
And is it a copy to put a new HD-based music player out there?

You might also wanna look for Oddyssey, another fine iPod alternative.

I'll stick to the iPods, but there's no harm in competition...

What about a device or a piece of software that lets you swindle someone? They could call it iCon...

Ba-dum ksh!

the mp3 player toshiba made awhile ago, now *that* was an iPod clone. This just seems to copy the iPod's price :p

Finally, an MP3 player that uses a thumbstick for navigation. I've always found my iPod's scrollwheel quite counter-intuitive.

If only it weren't so uuugly. :/

phatcactus, what are you talking about? I find the iPod scrollwheel to be the best solution ever. It took me 1 second to figure out how to use it, and I really started taking for granted the accelleration it had (so I could scroll from the top to the bottom of the list in no time)

I wish my t306 had a scrollwheel instead of a thumbstick. The stick is okay for going up, down, left, and right, but it's not necessary for such a simple device as there are other ways of doing such.
