iPod frozen...HELP!!!

My iPod just froze.
After being in my bag for an hour or so, it woke up, found the song I wanted and now it's playing...at 0:00 seconds.
Is there a Command+Option+Escape for the iPod?
 
Same problem, more serious.
When I picked it up this morning it wouldn't turn on. I figured I'd left it playing all night and it was a battery problem. But when I connected it to a computer nothing happent. Nothing. No charging, no drive mounted, no iTunes...nothing!

Anybody got another idea?
 
I read something somewhere which said that this happened sometimes if the battery ran too far down or something. I'll see if I can dig the link out.

You might like to try hunting on iPoding, iPodlounge or iPodhacks to see if they're any help.

If not, I'm sure Apple will see you right...
 
Just checked the Apple site, and the best they can suggest is that you plug iPod in, and try resetting then. And it might sound stoopid, but check your 'Hold' switch isn't on. That's caught me out more than once...
