I have an Apple 4 GB iPod Mini Silver, Model M9800LLl, running software version 1.4.1. My Mac is running OSX 10.4.7. I tried to upload several audio books onto the iPod from my iTunes library. I keep getting a messages saying some of the items can't be installed because my iPod software is too old. When I try to download the newest software--1.4.1 (which is what I'm already running)--it says the disk won't mount. I tried re-setting the iPod, restarting the computer, etc. I am able to upload songs without problems, and even an audio book from Audible.com. Any thoughts? Thanks.
