The ipod battery is removeable? Can you buy a spare? On my 10 gig iPod it isnt or I cant seem to figure out how. Anyone know? Also I feel bad for Canadians. $800 for the 20 gig model... damn.

Huh huh, removable battery? Well...
I actually took my iPod apart to find the battery, and yes, sure it's removable, but you'll have to crack the case open and void the warranty big time to remove/replace it. And nobody sells replacement batteries yet :D

Kjetil, you're CRAZY!!! Opening your iPod like that...
Just out of curiosity, how do you put it back together? Glue?

As for removing the battery, I would NOT recommend it.

maybe he wanted to show his transparent ipod in applefritter.com ? :D

btw, in US you get the double of Gs than in Europe.. in Europe (apart from Switzerland, that's a bit cheaper) = 5 G costs like 10 in US, 10 like 20 G ... thus, when the 40 G ipod will be out, that's price following the logic would be 649 $ (US) ...

No, the back cover is held on by clips, so it easily clips on again :D
