So I was on the train the other day, and it kinda broke down. So I was waiting there for about an hour or so before the next train came to push it.
But I had my iPod with me, and I was playing Pong on it.
Did you know that if you get to level 7, there's a funny thing that happens in this level and all following levels? The ball launches like normal, but when it hits the first brick, it splits into TWO balls! Then you have to keep both going at the same time! If you lose one, you lose one life, and if you lose both, you lose two lives (this isn't much of a problem if you manage to keep one ball in the air for the whole time, because you get the life you lost back once you complete the level).
Also, the number of lines of bricks is kind of random after level 7. It goes from like 4 to 5 to 2 to 6 or something... I don't remember the exact order, but it's not steadily increasing like in levels 1-6.
I got like 400-something points (I don't remember exactly). Anybody else get this far? I'd be interested to know if something else funny starts happening at, say, level 14. I'm just surprised that the engineers took that much time to make the game fun I wouldn't've guessed that it did that.
Funny, huh?
