I got this today from an apple newsletter

"visit the iPod site later today and download the iPod Software 1.2 Updater. "

Also

"Support for Audible content available only for Macintosh versions of iPod"

Maybe the eNewsletter was supposed to come out at midnight and some jerk sent it early. :rolleyes:

If you can't tell i can't wait. And i have a road trip this weekend.

Awww...I can't believe Apple is turning so M$'y lately...the iPod update is a .dmg so you can only run it on OS X! (unless you have that diskcopy beta :)) But seriously, even though most of the features only apply to OS X, still...
 
No, I do use OS X, but I feel for the far greater number of OS 9 users...

(read my stats underneath this line)
 
I think they are just trying to push as many people into 10 as possible.

I have mixed feelings on that.
