Tough call.
I love mine, but I could see it getting upgraded or the price dropping.
It's still the best MP3 player out there, but it's a bit pricey when there are players with 20 Gig drives at the same price (however not as nice.)
I think I would wait, but it's just me. I think they'll just drop the prices. It is relatively new, so there probably won't be an iPod 2 anytime soon.

I love my iPod it is awesome. True that there are players with 20 gig hd but they don't have firwire so it is pointless to get one. I don't know if the price is going to drop dramatically anytime soon, but I do think that they may come out with a 10 gig version at Macworld Toyko. That is my opinion. It is worth all $400 hundred dollars. My dad is a big pc guy. He thinks that the iPod is so amazing. He wants one really bad. He is very jealous!
