Yeah, once julguribye mentioned it, I went back and looked was able to see that it was a beige G3 box at one time. Crappy paintjobs are not something you usually see on Macs; I was distracted by the horrible blue..
The issue I see with a top-first drop-in charger/dock is that you'd have to put the pod in upside-down. I'm no Jonathan Ive, but that just feels very wrong to me from a design perspective. I've quickly sketched something that might work (again, no J.I.
), but I'd be concerned that it'd be too expensive to build and market.
