Hello again. I believe my iPodRip problems started after I mistakenly
disconnected my iPod before the "Do Not Disconnect" warning went away.
All of the over 3,500 music files seem to be OK. My problem is when I
launch iPodRip, I get a message saying that the application suddenly quit.
It ask what I was doing at the time the problem occurred. Problem is that
because of this continuous "SPINNING BEACHBALL" that appears, I can't
respond to the message or do anything while this FROZEN dialog box
is there. I then end up FORCE QUITTING each & every time. I've heeded
your previous suggestion (Repair Permissions on HD). I haven't trashed my
iPodRip yet, but did download another iPodRip with the same results. A
trial version of "TouchCopy" would not see the iPod and Sentui didn't
respond either. Also, "DebugPod" that is suggested from iPodRip support,
I don't understand where to "MOUNT THE DebugPod disk image" as
suggested. Does it mount on the HD in "applications" or directly on the
iPod. PLEASE NOTE: I DON NOT WANT TO PUT 3,500 MUSIC FILES AT
RISK. As you might wonder, I am very, very nervous about all of this.
HELP NEEDED SO BAD. THANKS ONCE AGAIN.
