Is it possible to set up airport router to make it invisible to my ISP?

I would like to set up an apple router (airport extreme or airport express) in my apt. I would like to set up my macbook so that my home wireless network is unseen/undetectable to my ISP and the ISP thinks that I am only plugging the ethernet cable into my macbook. My wireless network would be very small--just a printer and my macbook. The only things I really want to do are connect to the internet and print wirelessly. But I want to do so without my ISP knowing I have set up a router.

Is this possible? And if so, how do I set it up?

Your ISP for one can not see past you Modem because of NAT that is in the Router, so there for all they maybe able to see is your router not past that. If you use a VPN and there are some out there. Like this one I use secureix.com/ it is free for the time being. When you set it up to run in Internet Connect your ISP will not to be able to see anything other then just that you are sending and geting stuff. But they can not see what you are sending and getting. ie. Say you use P2P software and they stop P2P then you will be able to get past that. Because they don't know what type of Software or data that you are runing or getting. hope that helps.

I have a modem wired to an Airport Extreme Base station. All the ISP sees is the modem. You should have no worries at all.
