Is Leopard worth the upgrade right now?

It seems like everyone is having tons of problems with the leopard upgrade, is it really worth upgrading to right now, or should I wait until 10.5.1 comes out?

yes. i'd wait for 10.5.3, or actually, not bother. the way i see it, it's keeping a new mac ahead of the curve, it's keeping itself ahead of windows etc, but if the way you work is not hindered by tiger, i probably wouldn't bother.

ok, thanks for the tip. However, if the sole reason I need to purchase a new iMac is to get it into an office I manage, and use parallels all day with apple mail, and internet use, document editing etc... it should be fine or is it really that bad? I mean, over 2 million people bought leopard upon release, are all 2 million frustrated?

Not all are frustrated. But some non-Apple applications aren't yet fully running, including some pricier ones like Adobe stuff...
And if getting it for home use, $ 129 isn't always pocket money for everybody.
But if you need to get the iMac anyway, go for it as those will come bundled with it ....
